Copeland Springs Farm & Kitchen shares a campus with Fair Game Beverage, Starrlight Mead and Chatham Ciderworks.
Our farm is Certified Naturally Grown, meaning we use organic practices and care about the health of our soils, the food we produce and our customers. We grow a variety of vegetables/fruits, mushrooms and cut flowers.
Our commercial kitchen offers counter service of vegetarian dishes from our produce, to be enjoyed anywhere on campus or taken to go.
Copeland Springs Kitchen is seeking full and part-time experienced individuals with commitment and passion for seasonal, farm fresh food. This is a small commercial kitchen and teamwork and ability to multi-task are critical. Attention to detail, friendly demeanor and tireless customer service are crucial.
We will be open for dinner Th/Fri and lunch & dinner Sat/Sun
Duties may include
- Friendly interaction with customers taking food orders/payments
- Washing/prepping food
- Dish washing
- Maintaining clean work and customer area
- Willingness to work at least one day on the farm a plus
- Food preparation, presentation and quality control
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Ensure efficient use of immediately available produce
-Knowledge of health & safety rules in a kitchen (Serv Safe or other)
-Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen/restaurant/food service.
-Flexibility, creativity and collaboration will be required
-Strong customer service skills
Bonus points for
-Serv Safe certification (or comparable)
-Ability to work independently and lead in the kitchen
-Kitchen management experience
Pay $12-$15/hr depending on experience.
